clause + 는/(으)ㄴ is a relative clause, a type of noun modifying construction.

-modifying clause precedes modified noun
-no relative pronouns like which
-verb and adj stem indicate present tense
-topic marker 은/는 cannot occur in relative clause. 이/가is used instead.

읽으시는
for irregular verbs in ㄹ, stem final ㄹ is deleted before 는 or 시 [(으)시는 is honorific form eg 음식을 만드시는 어머니 mother who makes food]

잘 아는 사이 a relationship tt is close

copula ~(이)다/아니다 becomes ~인/아닌 or ~이신/아니신 for noun modifying forms

~어서/아서 never takes tense marker in clause 1. tense only in clause 2.
clause 2 may be omitted.
